While the men in the family shoveled the snow that came down yesterday, under bitterly cold temperatures (15 deg F and super windy), I traced patterns from the Sept 2013 issue. Sometimes it's good to be the queen ;-)
I traced 111 (oversized cardigan), 113 (cut on/batwing sleeve knit top) and ran out of tracing paper, but got most of 124 (bomber jacket) done. I feel very accomplished. I am starting with the cardigan, these cold temperatures make me want to be wrapped up in comfortable and warm cardigans.
Talk to you soon!
¡Hasta pronto!
The bomber jacket pattern looks really neat- I can't wait to see it made up. :) Also, what is up with the 15F?!?! I just checked our little weather station and it's 17F on our deck. This is nonsense!
ReplyDeleteI know! It has been pretty nice recently. Oh well time to use all those sweaters Ive knitted...
DeleteSounds like a good deal to be queen! :)
ReplyDeleteI love those oversized swesters and have been considering making one when our cooler weather arrives. (In the middle of a heatwave right now! - 38C or about 100F!)
ReplyDeleteIt is very nice to be the queen! Can't wait to see the fabrics you choose for these projects -- I've had my eye on the bomber pattern for a while now. Stay warm and safe!
Estoy deseando ver tu proyecto.
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed with your patience to trace more than one thing at once! I can. Only stand tracing when I know I'm about to get to sew something.
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to have shoveling helpers. We got some new residents in our building this year and when i came home last Thursday for the first time ever somebody had already done the shoveling. It was a miracle!
