Help!

The first image shows what I believe is the reverse of my wool/cashmere coating, the second is the loftier right side? I know you are just suppose to choose the side you like and go with it but I would like your opinion on what is the right side of this fabric. You can see part of the selvage on both pictures.

Thanks!!

For coating, my guess would be the bottom picture is the right side. Again...my guess!

I guess it depends on what you are making. Having the fuzzier side in would probably make the coat(?) warmer. But then you wouldn't be able to touch it.

  3. I *think* I like the one on the right better. A little more classic?

  4. Of course you are quite correct in saying that you can choose whichever side you want to be the right side. However, for my personal taste, I would agree with you and say that the top picture is the wrong side and the lower picture is the right side. Either way, it's lovely fabric and will make a beautiful coat.

  5. The pictures show up top and bottom for me, rather than right and left.

For a classic, tailored looking coat I would choose the top picture, with the weave showing.

For a slouchier, cozier coat, I would choose the bottom, more fuzzy looking.

  6. Lisette, I would treat the bottom (second) picture as the "right" side. Just my personal preference!
